Who we are:

Heyo! We are Topshelf Records. We started this label beout of a love for music, particularly on the local level. Now, years later, We still strive to work with our bands and to provide them with support in any way that we can, to go beyond just releasing albums. Having been in bands ourselves, we’ve seen lots of talented and hard working dudes (and girls) playing in kids’ cellars with nowhere to go. While everyone loves a good basement show, our goal is to do what we can to bring the bands that need to be heard out of the basement and onto the streets.

Interested in playing a Topshelf sponsored show or having a Topshelf band play your show?

For booking consideration for one of OUR shows: We do all of our booking electronically. Send us an EPK with desired/available dates to: booking@topshelf-records.com. If you do not have an EPK, don't sweat it. We're reasonable dudes. Just send us links to any recordings you have and a website, etc (along with desired/available dates). Please do not send more than one message or send a message to any other account other than the booking address. WE READ EVERY MESSAGE WE GET. If you do not have digital recordings then we probably can't help you very much, sorry. Booking procedures vary show by show as well as by your band's area of origin. We welcome touring acts but limit them to two per show at most. Our events are usually held at any of the following locations: Maximum Capacity (Chicopee, MA), Pearl Street Night Club (Northampton, MA), Parker Street Pub (Springfield, MA) or The Third World Room (Westfield, MA).

Where are you from?
We are based out of Western Massachusetts. Springfield, MA area to be more specific. Please see contact under the info section in the menu to the right for contact information.

Where can I get some of your awesome stuff?!
If you can, get merch from us in person at shows. It's the most direct and helpful way to support an artist / label. But if you can't, you can find our releases online through Smartpunk.com and Interpunk.com, along with our Topshelf Store which you can find on the right. All releases are also available for streaming/download through all major downloading services. We are Distributed Nationally through Caroline Distribution.

How often does Topshelf set up shows?
We do shows one to two times a month at various locations.
