First let me just say this: I'm a big Space Captain fan. I love what those dudes do. So having them wrap up this night was pretty damn awesome. The Amber Fashion sounded great with a new line up and Moller played a stripped down set (sans a drummer) which was pretty damn rad considering. This show was a good rebound from our last venture at Maximum Capacity and overall was pretty successful, and, of course, fun. I particularly like our shows here because of all the familiar faces that come through the door. It really is a great atmosphere.

Though just as fun as our last show at this location, the attendance wasn't quite on par. Nonetheless, this show was a success. Cookies were baked and distributed by Ms. Alli Radzicki, good times were had (even long after the show with a Denny's just down the road) and Aeroplane, 1929 was sent off on the road appropriately. Age restrictions aside, this show pwned.

Well, this show turned out quite well considering the hastle it was to put on. We all definitely had our doubts. As far as a local lineup goes, this show is about as good as it gets. We're really proud to be working with the local acts we do.

MAN, did we ever need a place for this show! Our buds in La Guillotine hooked us up with the venue last minute and good time's were had. The night was quite eventful with everything from baseball catch, tons of free swag, good tunes and seeing friends to teenage high school girls cat-fighting in the parking lot (complete with peeing their pants and throwing coffee at eachother...?). Ha, anyhow. Aeroplane, 1929 played a great set for their CD release and Sixfinger played their last set ever. Forgive the shitty metaphor, but, ummm...pheonix. Right. Come to the next one!

A sports bar that primarily focuses on metal is HARDLY where we envisioned getting our foot in the door in this area, but that's essentially what happened. The show was tagged a benefit and all proceeds were to be used to finance our initial projects. This show was incredibly fun (and quite random) and very successful. A lot of what we currently have going on we owe to this night.
